Size Guide

Since costumes are made from technical fabrics with good stretch and recovery, the sizing is quite forgiving and you do not need to fit perfectly into the size chart. The size chart shows the ‘ideal body measurements’ for each size, but we can often use a best fit model. For one piece or costumes with a leotard as the base, the torso measurement is the most important. For 2 piece costumes, the chest and hip measurements should be used to determine the most appropriate size.  Custom sizing is available, please use the form below to submit your measurements for a quote.

How to measure

Measurements are most accurate when taken by someone else, while the performer stands straight and in a neutral posture. Use a flexible tape measure (grab a free paper one next time you’re in ikea!) to measure around the fullest part of the chest, the narrowest part of the waist, and the fullest part of the hips, around the buttocks. For tutus, hold the tape measure at the point of the elbow, bring it down the arm and onto the hand. Take the measurement from the middle knuckle of the middle finger. This ensures the tutu plate is proportionate to the dancers body.
